THANKSGIVING DAY
Thanksgiving Day is a joyous family festival celebrated with lot of enthusiasm in US, Canada and several other countries. Thanksgiving Day Festival commemorates the feast held by the Pilgrim colonists and members of the Wampanoag people at Plymouth in 1621. On this day people express gratitude to God for his blessings and give thanks to dear ones for their love and support. Feasting with family is the  most delightful part of Thanksgiving Day celebrations.

This is an exact replica of the Mayflower that the Pilgrims sailed from England in 1620.
Today is Thanksgiving Day, an important celebration for most American people.
In the United States:
Thanksgiving is observed on the every fourth Thursday of November. The holiday is celebrated in remembrance of the pilgrims and in order to give thanks.
In Canada:
The Canadian Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of the month (the reason for the earlier date in October is their earlier harvest occurring farther to the north).
